Come celebrate Dia de los Muertos at Smiley Public Library!
A special celebration will take place at Smiley Library in Redlands on Tuesday, November 1 in recognition of Dia de los Muertos. From 12 to 3 in Smiley Park there will be live music from Los Plateados Mariachi and Paty Luevano, a free lunch and family activities. From 6 to 8 PM in the library’s adjacent Contemporary Club facility there will be a special program featuring altars created by Redlands families and organizations, brief remarks about the importance of the holiday as well as music from Ana Gonzalez de Jorgensen and a dance performance from the St. Mary’s Ballet Folklorico.
