Flute Concert on February 25 at The Contemporary Club in Redlands
Presented by Inland Empire Valley Flute Society

The Inland Empire Valley Flute Society (IEVFS) in collaboration with A.K. Smiley Public Library will be hosting a free concert of flute music on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 2 p.m.  The concert will be held at The Contemporary Club, located at 173 S. Eureka St., in Redlands.

The event is the IEVFS’s annual Membership Recital and will feature performances by members of the Inland Empire Valley Flute Society.  There will be solo performances, as well as duets, trios performed by the Festivo Ensemble, and a performance by Silver Sounds Flute Ensemble, a 7-member flute choir from Redlands.

The concert will include pieces from a wide range of musical genres, from classical to modern.  In addition, a wide range of flutes will be used, including alto flute and bass flute, as well as the traditional C-flute and piccolo.

The concert is free.  Any donations received will go to the Inland Empire Valley Flute Society’s Harriet Foucher Memorial Flute Lesson Scholarship Fund.

For more information on the February 25 concert or the IEVFS, please contact IEVFS Events Coordinator Jackie Aronowitz at 909-335-1833 or email IEVFluteSociety@gmail.com.

The Inland Empire Valley Flute Society (IEVFS) is a non-profit organization formed in 2003 to be a resource for Inland Empire area flute players.  It sponsors an annual flute lesson scholarship, master-classes, and concerts.
