Come learn about the historical origins of the Juneteenth holiday at Smiley Library Thursday, June 27 at 6:30pm in the Assembly Room. Military historian Mark Radeleff will deliver a presentation on both the civil war history behind Juneteenth as well as discuss four of the war’s Black Medal of Honor recipients. Mr. Radeleff is known for his extensive research on the individual stories that bring the important events of history to life. This is event is free to the public. The A.K.
