Established in 1894, A.K. Smiley Public Library has served generations of patrons in the City of Redlands and beyond. The only “admission fee” is curiosity. Lifelong learning is at the center of activity in the beautiful, historic building and attractive grounds!

Redlands Community History Initiative

Welcome to the Redlands Community History Initiative! Through this project you can help preserve the community’s rich, diverse history by sharing your family treasures, including photographs, diaries, receipts, oral histories, and anything else that helps tell your family’s story in the Redlands area.

Sharing is easy! Just fill out the form below, drag-and-drop your treasures, and provide a brief description of the items. These items will be added to the Special Collections and may be used for educational purposes, including exhibitions and publications.
