The Division of Special Collections want to hear from you! Staff are hard at work to create the inaugural exhibits for the Museum of Redlands, including “I Am Redlands,” a digital display featuring photographs of Redlanders throughout time. Looking at the community in both the past and present, the exhibit offers the ideal opportunity to document people who have called Redlands home over the years, including you and your loved ones. Consider sharing your photos for possible inclusion in “I Am Redlands” and to be archived in the Special Collections of A.K. Smiley Public Library.
Sharing is easy. You can upload your photographs directly to the online submission portal, by email to heritage@akspl.org, or in person to the Heritage Room where they can de scanned by staff. Digital submissions should be high resolution. Make sure to include the names of the individuals, the locations they were photographed, and dates (if available) with the submission so we can capture as much information as possible. Now is your chance to be a part of Redlands history!
Feel free to contact Special Collections staff at (909)798-7632 if you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment. We look forward to hearing from you!
